9. Repair History

Aircraft had repair accomplished as noted in log entry 2-6-04. Repair performed by Hov-Aire of Vicksburg, MI the acknowledged premier Malibu/Mirage repair in North America. Work scope included replacement of wing (448.8 hour wing), Stabilizer, Vertical fin, Rudder and both ailerons, flaps & 8 fuselage skins. Aircraft was in a hangar several yards from another hangar which experienced a fire. Decision was made to replace components despite the fact that the airplane didn't burn. Work exceeds factory specs. Workmanship is impeccable.

Interior:

Tasteful Bisque Leather with Wine, Tan and Blue Fabric sidepanels. Dark Tan Carpet. Condition 9+ on 10 scale. Writing Table, Crew Adjustable seats with Lumbar support and headrests. Aft baggage net. Left and Right Refreshment/Storage cabinets. 6 place intercom with music. Individual shoulder harnesses. Instrument panel and cockpit show new. This is a beautiful Interior. The carpet still has the little fuzzies typical of new carpet, one can still smell the leather. There are no water marks. The rear seats look as if they have had little if any use.

Exterior:

2004 By Sturgis Aviation. IMRON Polyurethane Overall Cream with Midnight Blue and Metallic Gold striping. The aircraft windows only have 366 hangared hours. There are NO patches in the deicer boots. Exterior condition 9 on 10 scale. This is a beautiful airplane!

Summary:

Aircraft was originally assigned N92642. However it was delivered immediately to Ontario, CA where is was re-registered as C-FYDQ with only 35.7 hours TTAF. It spent the next 1231.1 hours in Canada. The present owner has flown it 366.3 hours. Canadian maintenance was carried out by known shops and is well documented. The aircraft has undergone an extensive component replacement as a result of proximity to an adjacent hangar fire. The upside to this is that the airplane is very new appearing. It is squeaky clean. The bonus hours on the engine cannot be overlooked. A buyer will have the good fortune of having an engine that for all intents and purposes has only 365 hous of time on factory new cylinders and many of the accessories and exhaust components. This airplane has a lot of value. Specifications subject to verification upon inspection. Subject to prior sale or removal from market.
