Cody F. Welch & Associates uses our exclusive Baseline Analysis to appraise an entire market segment, providing an OBJECTIVE determination of an aircraft’s value relative to its market peer group.
Many major financial institutions have used our services over the years because you can’t assign a simple ‘blue-book’ dollar value to an aircraft. Various issues will always contribute or detract from an assigned value & our service puts a real dollar value on each individual aircraft.
This is the same process used during the acquisition process. After we have determined where an aircraft fits in relation to its market, we provide the client with Retail Asking, Likely Retail Sales Price (given time to properly market) and a Dealer Inventory Price.
Because of the small transaction volume in aircraft, coupled with a lack of standardized sales reporting data, it is critical to employ the Baseline Analysis on every appraisal. While there are a handful of ‘Bluebooks’, their basic value is to provide aircraft technical data.
Cody F. Welch & Associates provides a data driven, detailed appraisal; by far the most sophisticated available in today’s marketplace. Data is also provided on market dynamics concerning sales activity and inventory aging.
Examples of recent aircraft appraisals include the following:
Falcon 20 (15 aircraft fleet operator)
Gulfstream III Intercontinental Business Jet
Sabreliner 65 Business Jet
Various General Aviation Aircraft
